With the rapid advances in neurosurgery brain tumours have become increasingly more treatable.

Early diagnosis and high degree of suspicion are the key elements for aiming cure.

Also....getting the treatment in specialised centres which treat brain tumours frequently is essential as these centres are likely to be having expertise and modern equipment to treat these difficult conditions.

During the last 15 years Synapse Brain and Spine Foundation has developed such Brain Tumour centre and has carried out more than 2000 Brain Tumour surgeries successfully. The advanced equipment like brain endoscope system which was not available till now has helped this project. The foundation is planning to acquire the most modern Neuromicroscope which will allow us to treat these difficult problems with better results. This will allow us to treat these difficult problems with better results. This modern neuromicroscope has a potential to distinguish between the normal brain and the area infiltrated with tumour making it possible to remove the tumours completely... aiming at cure.
